Happy Aquarius full moon! As an honorary Aquarian, I'm taking this moment to show my goofy self. Spirituality and understanding ourselves on a deeper level doesn't always have to be so serious. In fact it shouldn't be serious all the time. This full moon is an invitation to release what has grown burdensome or heavy. (Think the 10 of wands tarot card.) A situation may call on us to pivot and to show up radically different than we have in the past. Uranus squares this lunation, beckoning us to use our creativity to solve whatever issue arises now. If a barrier presents itself, think about how you can tackle this challenge differently this time. Maybe that means being less hard on yourself.. and allowing yourself to show your goofy side. 🤍 As the I Ching states, it is better to move around a boulder than to attempt to push it aside. Innovation is a solution to our struggles. Have a weird one! 🌕 #aquariusfullmoon #chariotastrology

Hello friends. Chariot just turned 6, and I’m (finally) officially announcing the plan to shut down the retail portion of my business! The exact date is not yet determined, but the plan is to close down the retail in September this year. Please do come by and shop (Saturdays) this summer, as I will not be re-ordering any more product. Be rest assured, however, I’m not going anywhere and Chariot is NOT closing. Over the past few years, I have been gradually lessening the retail part of my business so I can better focus on the client side of my work. It’s become clear to me that I cannot do it all, and I’m going to prioritize what is most important. So Chariot will continue to live on as my client-focused spiritual business, as well as my design studio. When I opened Chariot in the summer of 2016, I knew I wanted to continue all the work I had been doing in my professional life. Chariot houses my interior/architecture studio, astrology/tarot practice, and spiritual/housewares store. Opening Chariot was a way to house all of my creative endeavors in one place and connect with my community. It has been a wild ride in entrepreneurship at times, but these past six years have been the most soul-fulfilling work of my life. So even though Chariot won’t continue on in the retail world, I do hope to have occasional pop-ups and more in-person events again. If you are interested in hosting a future pop-up event at Chariot, I may be open to collaborating! I’m also planning our next in-person retreat after a very long hiatus. The annual Samhain retreat will be happening this year at the Sou’Wester on the weekend before Halloween. Stay tuned for that. This summer's first new moon arrives Tuesday evening at 7:52PM PT. The Cancer new moon is one of my favorite each year, as it is the birthing place of all lunar things. Cancer is the home of the moon and connects us with what nurtures and supports us throughout our lives. Here we embody the mother who creates, sustains, and protects. On this Cancer new moon, we have the opportunity to enter the sacred depths of our caring for ourselves and for others. We may find ourselves depending more on our intuition and feelings rather than logic at this time. Cancer brings about a deep sensitivity as well as a fierce self-protective mode of being. As we birth a new cycle, we anticipate what shifting currents may hinder or help us in the coming weeks. Consider what supports you to feel safe and nourished, and how you can cultivate more of this.
