Scorpio New Moon 2021: Finding our truth.

astrologySuzy OlsenComment

Tomorrow afternoon, at 2:14PM PT, the moon is reborn in the sign of the scorpion. Over the next lunar cycle, we are getting in touch with the untamed parts of ourselves and allowing the truth to set us free. If you have been feeling powerless and not in control of your life, the tides are shifting in November. The battle cry from Mars can be heard during this planet's time in Scorpio, and will embolden us to assert ourselves and take courageous action. Change is in the air, and we may be confronting an inner or outer demon (or two) as we evolve and grow into a new chapter.

There are times for patience and harmony, and there are times for initiative and confrontation. We are entering a period where a sudden call to action is necessary. The new moon in Scorpio is calling on us to speak from the heart and speak our truth. Results may be messy or a tad uncomfortable for a period, but we can only learn and grow by allowing ourselves to take a risk. By speaking our truth we are empowered.

The planets are telling us we've been playing it a little too safe for too long, and we are about to get a wake-up call.

Uranus, the planet of liberation, is directly opposite this new moon. The seeds we are planting now are of the revolutionary kind. This lunar cycle promises some surprises, so I would advise staying a bit flexible. You are now called to work outside of your comfort zone. You may have to react quickly to sudden shifts in circumstances outside of your control, but this is an opportunity for great personal growth. This new moon is a preview of what changes to expect in the next 1.5 years, as the eclipse cycles shift to the Taurus - Scorpio axis.

Saturn is squared by this lunation, highlighting that we have challenges and restrictions to overcome. Our evolution (or revolution!) will not happen overnight. When your efforts are thwarted, do you give up right away or do you pivot and come back stronger? In the Scorpio realm, it's all about strategy. If you experience any failures over the next few weeks, take those experiences and learn from them. Prioritize what is most vital for you and for your future success.

Mistakes are not failures if you learn from them.

'GUIDANCE' HOROSCOPES
For those curious about going more depth with their astrology this month, I have written some 'guidance' style horoscopes for each sign. You can think of this as wisdom from the stars for the month of November. Also, you will find the astrology is most intense and felt by those with ascendants in the signs of TAURUS, SCORPIO, AQUARIUS and LEO.

Reference your rising (ascendant) sign for most accuracy.

Aries
The house of karmic debts and joint resources comes into focus on this new moon. How are you dependant on others and how do you support others, and is this exchange fair and just? You are called to take action to bring balance to the debts you owe or that you are owed by others.

Taurus
You have been on a winding journey of discovering a deeper authentic self since May of 2018. How do you continue this journey and more freely express yourself in your relationships? Stay true to who are and continue to communicate honestly with your partner about who you are becoming.

Gemini
You may find this month throwing extra curve balls your way. Unexpected challenges can have you feeling more anxious than usual. Know that this turbulence is temporary, and you can weather the storm. If you find yourself catching a cold or feeling run down, allow yourself to take a break in order to care for yourself. Self-care is vital to avoid burnout.

Cancer
Mars is supplying fervor to your joy in creating and using your talents. Are your gifts reflected and valued by the groups you align with? The new moon beckons you to find "your people" and network in order to evolve your unique gifts. Let go of alliances and groups that don't support the interests you wish to grow.

Leo
Since the spring of 2018, you have been on a journey of individuating in your career path. Sudden changes and opportunities are highlighted with your work and reputation, and this is having an effect on your home and family life. You may be juggling a lot between your work and personal life. Prioritize what is most important now to ensure future success.

Virgo
Your mind is active this season, and you have lots you want to say. You may have a new teacher or authority figure presenting a perspective that is in opposition to your own. A healthy debate allows you to understand your own beliefs and to understand others better. Know there is always more to learn and be curious about from other points of view.

Libra
The new moon falls into your house of income and sets the stage for future growth. Currently, you may be dissatisfied with your finances and are now taking action to remedy this situation. Evaluate your money from a long-term perspective. What healthy money habits can you grow today to ensure success in the future? This could be a good time to ask for a raise and pay off debts.

Scorpio
Dear Scorpio, this new moon is bringing big feels. For several years, your relationship dynamics have been shifting and evolving and you are now in a major growth spurt. This may be a time where a relationship or partnership comes to an end or is allowed to evolve. How you respond to others is everything right now. Do you feel the need to assert yourself and your needs to a partner? Before saying your piece, try seeing the situation from their perspective and remember they are not your enemy. Be open and speak from the heart.

Sagittarius
This lunar cycle may have you feeling frayed due to many unexpected demands or changes to your schedule. Though the pressure is on, you have what it takes to persevere. If you are feeling out of sorts, give yourself time to step back and collect yourself before carrying on. In times of crisis or instability, you learn how strong you really are.

Capricorn
You may be evaluating who you associate with and how much energy you put towards organizations and groups you belong to. For many years, you have been itching to focus on your own projects and to develop your own gifts. Now is the time to put your joy first and pursue developing your unique talents. As you step further out on your own, others may see you as competition. Don't waste time worrying about what others think, and stay focused on your goals.

Aquarius
Responsibilities at work may be weighing heavy on you this month, or perhaps a job is requiring you to relocate. Changes at home may cause further strain at work. Be honest about how much you can handle at this time. There is an opportunity to liberate yourself from a confining situation and attain more freedom. Make it known where you'd like to see yourself in your career in the next year, and what needs to happen to get there.

Pisces
The Scorpio new moon is offering a revolution of the mind. You may be beginning a new area of study or traveling to a distant land. Passionate debates surround you, as you may be questioning a particular dogma or status quo. Don't get caught up in your ego at this time nor be tempted to give your power away to another. Questioning limiting beliefs from authority figures allows you to open your mind.

As always, I'm wishing you all the many blessings for this new moon.

Fallen Scorpio Moon + Bjork

astrologySuzy OlsenComment

Bjork is a stunning example of all things Scorpio. If you are unaware, she is a well-known musician in Iceland who is known for her 'out there' surreal performances. I became a huge fan back in the 90's, when I saw her first music video on MTV. Recently, I was studying her natal chart and admiring all the Scorpio magic she brings to the world. She has the Sun, Moon, ascendant, and Neptune in Scorpio and in the house of self. In other words, her identity, her emotions and effortless imagination are on full display to the world. She has a unique and otherworldly Scorpio style that is 100% her own making.

The sign of Scorpio is ruled by Mars traditionally, and this gives her a noticeable intensity. Her moon is rising above the ascendant, which means her deep and fraught emotions are fully exposed to the world. She wears her deeply tender heart on her sleeve, and it is thus inextricably part of her persona. So if we are looking for a good example of Scorpio moon energy in a human, Bjork is a great example!

In ancient astrology, the moon is considered 'fallen' in the sign of Scorpio. The term 'fallen' here means the moon often gets lost in its feelings and has trouble letting go of distraught emotions and attachments. A Scorpio moon burned does not easily forget, and it takes dedicated work to heal a broken heart. There is a capacity to feel the lowest lows and the highest highs with a Scorpio moon.

Bjork's deep sensitivities undoubtedly inspire her work, and she uses her creative expression to navigate and heal the domain of her heart. Instead of burying the feelings deep inside, she unveils them through her music. She confronts her shadows through her creative expression. One song that beautifully depicts this, is the song "JΓ³ga" from the Homogenic album. You can listen on YouTube here. The lyrics from this song seem to capture the essence of the Scorpio moon so perfectly:

"I feel... Emotional landscapes
They puzzle me
Then the riddle gets solved
And you push me up to this
State of emergency
How beautiful to be
State of emergency
Is where I want to be
All that no-one sees
You see
What's inside of me
Every nerve that hurts
You heal
Deep inside of me
You don't have to speak
I feel"

Thus, on this Scorpio new moon, you can find a little inspiration from Bjork. She productively channels her intense emotions into her work, and we can do the same.

libra new moon 2021.jpg

Here is recap from our new moon newsletter sent out on October 5th…

Tomorrow morning, at 4:05AM PT, the moon is reborn in the sign of the scales. The winds of the Libra new moon begin to fill our sails and move us forward through the spooky waters of October. After much slowness and stagnation, we finally have momentum propelling us towards new territories. Four planets are turning direct this month, including Pluto on the day of the new moon.

Mercury is still retrograde until the 18th, but is making some big moves. During these next couple weeks, we may be busy investigating, searching or waiting for important results. Mark October 9th as an important turning point towards clarity. Our minds may be in overdrive and a tad agitated as Mercury joins Mars, however, so make sure to set aside time for meditation or other mindfulness practices.

The new moon occurs alongside Mars, and plants the seed of our conflicts, passions and negotiations to come.

We may find ourselves speaking our minds more than usual, but with a congenial silver tongue. In the sign of Libra, we may feel hindered to fight for our personal needs as we strive to accommodate others. A hidden irritation or resentment may result if we compromise too much. If we find ourselves attempting to please everyone in a particular situation, our progress is made slow and unsatisfying.

All four planets in Libra are now squaring a forward moving Pluto in Capricorn. Whatever we are beginning on this new moon is unearthing and intensifying some powerful tension. We are no longer satisfied with the status quo and we want to dig deeper. A hidden secret may be revealed as we look beyond the veil. As we go deep into the underworld, a load of stress may prompt us to seek the comforts of balance and resolution. Some conflicts, however, are unavoidable. Sometimes we must fight for the peace and harmony we seek.

Over this next lunar cycle, we are flexing our negotiation muscles and using our skills of persuasion.

We are striving towards the Libra vision to create more beauty, harmony, pleasure, and justice.

Our efforts may not be realized right away, but can expect to see progress in the coming weeks. Jupiter will be sending us good news, wise counsel, and support.

Saturn stations direct on the 10th, and is soon followed by Jupiter on the 17th. This powerful combo reignites the Aquarius side of our lives. We will feel a renewed support and forward momentum in this particular area of our charts. I've highlighted below where the action is likely to occur for each sign.

Reference your rising (ascendant) sign for most accuracy.

Leo New Moon: Courageous New Beginnings...

astrologySuzy OlsenComment
Leo New Moon

Tomorrow morning, at 6:50AM PT, the moon is emptied in the sign of the courageous lion. Though we are in a dark moon phase, the new moon in Leo is illuminated by the brilliant sun. The seeds we plant now are nurtured by our inner passions and our divine free will.

We are fueled by our sense of purpose, our values and a striving towards authenticity.

When examining this lunation, I first noticed the dynamic relationship between the Sun and Saturn. The Sun is empowered and brilliant in the sign of Leo, and Saturn is equally strong in its austere Aquarian domain. Moving into this new cycle, we are confronted with our long term commitments and goals. What we value and desire must be worked for, and we are acutely aware of our responsibilities. With these efforts, we may feel a stronger sense of self reliance or a determination to 'go it alone'.

Uranus, the planet of liberation, is making a strong square to this new moon. We can expect this planet to serve up some surprises to keep us on our toes. Sudden endings and separations may create turbulence, but will allow us to fully step into whatever new chapter is beckoning our participation.

There is an opportunity here to welcome a fresh start and more freedom in a particular area of your life.

If you have been feeling bored, stagnate or unsatisfied in an aspect of your life, this lunation is a chance to take action. A message that feels especially strong now is that many of us are craving a life that feels more aligned with our current or evolving values. We desire to commit to something more meaningful, purposeful and authentic. For some, this may actually mean commiting to working less so they can spend more time enjoying their relationships and personal lives. What are some ways you can commit to living a life with more joy on your own terms?

Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius bring a combination of faith, positivity, structure and long term planning to this cycle. The courageous changes we make now can produce more stability for the future. On this lunation, consider what kind of life you'd like to be living a decade or two from now. And though it might be tempting, we are not to feel guilty for any happiness and blessings currently in our life. The Leo new moon is a reminder to radiate our warmth and brilliance to the world!

Gemini Solar Eclipse: Embracing a new vision.

astrologySuzy OlsenComment
gemini eclipse 2021.jpg

Tomorrow morning's solar eclipse in Gemini may have us feeling overstimulated with the plethora of information coming our way. In the sign of the curious twins, this mega new moon is quickly offering us new ideas, reorganization, and innovation. The ruler of this sign, Mercury, has been retrograde since May 29th. The Gemini area of our lives has been delayed or under review. Shortly after tomorrow's eclipse, this powerful retrograde Mercury will move to the center of the sun -- prompting important insights and a shift in our vision for the future.

When I first sat down to explore what I wanted to say about this eclipse, I had many ideas flying around my head. It felt difficult to navigate exactly what point I wanted to make. What is the story this eclipse wants to tell? I took a moment to meditate, pull some cards and journal. The more quiet I got, it all became suddenly clear. I tell this little story, because I feel it mirrors the energy of this time. With so much new activity and information coming our way, it can be difficult to hear our inner truth. I hope as you read this newsletter that it offers you some clarity and tools for your own personal reflection during this eclipse cycle.

In general, with any eclipse, it is not a fortunate time for manifestation. This does not mean, however, that the eclipse cycles are to be ignored or are not useful. Eclipses, like the 'Wheel of Fortune' tarot card, act as the karmic spinning wheels of the cosmos. Past events will bring about a crisis situation or an unforeseen blessed opportunity.

Our job isn't to ask the universe for anything from an eclipse, but to reflect and respond to what is revealed to us.

With a solar eclipse, the dark moon blots out the blazing sun. Our source of energy, spirit and purpose is suddenly turned off and then brought to life again. I often think of it like rebooting your computer by turning it completely off and on again. There is a necessary 'shutting down' in order to bring new life. Eclipses will close doors but always open new ones.

My personal approach to an eclipse is to view it as a time of reverence and reckoning. Pay attention to what is coming up and give yourself time to process. Instead of manifesting our biggest dreams, we are trusting in the unfolding wisdom of the universe.

With Jupiter at home in Pisces, we are in a time of transitioning to some kind of new stability. The past year has brought so much global turmoil and upheaval, and we are only beginning to see the outcomes. More than anything, I see this eclipse illuminating what structures we have outgrown collectively and personally. At this juncture, we must ask ourselves what ways of life we will resume and what will we leave behind? As many people have stated before me, just returning to 'normal' is likely not what we truly desire. If this past year hasn't changed your viewpoint on life in a multitude of ways, I'd be very surprised!

In the eclipse tarot reading I did today, I clearly saw the unfulfilling structures which are labeled as safe and stable. This undeniably includes patriarchal and capitalistic structures in our society. It appears it would be easy for us to fall back into tired, worn out traditions in order to reach for something that feels stable. These structures, whatever they may be, keep us from evolving.

We each tell ourselves a story of what defines success, and the narrative is changing.

This is an opportune time to give yourself time and space to reflect on what wisdom and clarity has been brought to you by the events of this past year. What has initiated more fulfillment and meaning? For many, they have found happiness in having more autonomy in their work or more time to spend with their family. They do not wish to return to the corporate office setting or their previous field of work. On June 14th, Uranus in Taurus makes another square to Saturn in Aquarius. Our values around work and freedom are shifting, and many do not wish to return to the ways of the old. We are waking up to the fact that our lives are worth more than a steady paycheck, and the minimum wage crisis is real.

Gemini is the divine story-teller, and the story we tell ourselves is shifting. We may realize what we once hoped for is not actually what we truly desire. What we thought would be fulfilling is not actually all that important. This may not be a time for bold action, but I do foresee many folks finding an inner clarity or personal truth. As old patterns reappear, and we may finally be able to see how we get in our own way. Old wounds are brought to the surface to be healed in order to clear space for new vibrant energy. As the new 'story' develops we unlearn the old narrative.

Tonight, and in the coming weeks, I would suggest giving yourself time to reflect on these questions:

1. What is something positive that has emerged this past year that I would like to hold onto?

2. How has my ideal vision for the future changed from a year ago?

3. What old structures are no longer serving me?

4. How has my vision of success evolved in the past year or six months?

Gemini is the Mercurial air sign, and we may be tempted to move with speed towards a new vision. If you are feeling very anxious and worrisome at this time, remember to stop and breath. Take a break from social media and the news. Some situations will call for bold action, but I would suggest taking your time if possible. To weave a new story that brings long term success takes time and does not need to be rushed.

Auspicious wedding dates for Summer 2021.

Suzy Olsen

Thinking of tying the knot this Summer? Many folks, myself included, had to cancel or postpone their weddings in 2020. Because of this, I’ve been researching some auspicious dates for myself and others.

Getting married is of course a serious business, and not to be taken lightly. Personally, I have mixed feelings about signing a contract into law when it comes to a romantic relationship. I was once married in my 20’s and thought I would never cross that bridge again. As time has moved on, however, I have found myself in a deeply committed and healthy relationship, and marriage feels right for me at this point in my life.

I write this because I don’t want anyone to ever feel pressured to get married. I think it’s perfectly fine to never get married and remain single or in a committed relationship outside of traditional wedlock. Honestly, I’m a huge fan of breaking societal norms when it is what is most positive and healthy for a person.

All that said, let’s move onto the wedding astrology for the summer of 2021! If I had to choose a window of time to work with, it would be when Venus is in Libra from August 16th until the early afternoon of September 10th (Pacific Time). Venus is the planet of love, of course, and brings harmony to partnerships. When I think of Venus in Libra, I think of mutual respect and common values β€” two things important to any marriage. Venus is at home in Libra and bring many blessings to a union; including warmth, attraction and beauty in its many forms.

One date in particular that caught my eye is Saturday August 21st. On this day, we have the moon nearing fullness as it approaches auspicious Jupiter β€” which will expand the blessings of this mighty planet. Venus in Libra is in a superior trine to Saturn, which equals a long term, committed and stable relationship. There is a lot to like about this date! I won’t be giving any specific times for an ideal wedding, because that is unique to what the couple desires for their union.

Another date I’m eyeing is Thursday September 9th. A crescent waxing moon will be in Libra, along with Mercury (the planet of communication) and loving Venus. A wedding during this day will likely receive blessings in loving and harmonious communication. Sounds pretty important for a marriage, right? During that morning, the moon will also be exactly conjunct the auspicious star Spica. This sparkly fixed star is one of my favorites, and it denotes success, wealth, a special intelligence, and beautiful outcomes.

If you are interested in working with me to find your ideal marriage date and time, send me a message! I’m eventually looking to formally added this to my consultation readings, and I look forward to helping you make your union a success.

New Moon in Taurus + May Astrology

astrologySuzy OlsenComment
Taurus New Moon newsletter.jpg

May's astrology has all sorts of flavors in store for us. We begin with the sweetness of the Taurus new moon and end with the ultra spiciness of eclipse season. The Taurus new moon occurs this Tuesday at noon PT, and establishes a new beginning in the earthly Venus part of our lives. Let's find out what this exalted new moon has in store.

At the very end of April, the Sun conjoined freedom inspiring Uranus. This may have sparked enthusiasm for starting something new or shaking things up. You may have experienced a genius insight or experienced a new sense of freedom you hadn't felt in a long time. Within a few days, however, the sun caught up with restrictive Saturn. The momentum towards change is halted by some sort of reality check. This first week of May kept showing me a message that 'slow and steady' was the best approach towards embarking on new territory.

The new moon in Taurus grounds any recent changes and welcomes a fresh new source of gratification in our lives. Any current feelings of boredom or stagnation can be fuel for igniting new explorations. Taurus is ruled by Venus and has much to do with the earthly pleasures: food, nature, sex etc. With this lunation, I would suggest thinking about where you could use a healthy dose of pleasure in your life. How does this pleasure meaningfully support you? We are in the lengthy process of dismantling old, worn-out structures and rebuilding a more pleasing and beautiful support system. Connecting with our pleasure is key in making this happen.

What structures or restrictions are no longer serving you?

To give you a real life example, I'll use a current situation in my own life. I've been on a highly restrictive diet for gut health reasons for the past almost year, which includes no sugar or alcohol. At the end of April, I decided this strict diet wasn't getting me where I needed to be. I no longer felt aligned with the treatment, and I wanted to 'break free' to try something new. To be honest, I'm also so ready to bring back some sugar and drinking (in strict moderation) into my life. I need some Venusian sweetness! The Uranian activity inspired me to make a change in my health and see a new doctor, and I plan on allowing some more eating pleasures into my life. Food and pleasure are deeply connected to Taurus.

Jupiter enters Pisces..
As we root down into the fresh soil of Taurus on the new moon, a wonderful transit soon follows. Jupiter flows into Pisces on May 13th, where he will be until July 29th. Ever since the pandemic began, more than a year ago, I've been looking forward to this 'dreamy' period. Jupiter is at home in the sign of Pisces and will be able to offer us many blessings from this bountiful placement. I expect that restrictions will lessen and we will be able to experience a bit more ease and blissful connections.

The gentle waves of Pisces may wash over our scorched earth and bring a sense of renewal and positivity. We may even feel more emotional than usual, due to the onset of reuniting with friends and family. Barriers will be worn down and allow for more movement. Jupiter in Pisces is a renewal of faith, positivity and being able to see the glass as more than 'half full'.

Jupiter was last in Pisces in much of the year 2010. Think back to what major blessings came into your life at that time, and that may give you a clue for what to expect with this transit. Each transit is undeniably unique, however, so you can some brand new Jupiter blessings as well!

Eclipse + Mercury retrograde season begins!
As I mentioned before, there are many different flavors this month. As May winds down, the astrology gets a bit more turbulent. The slow nature of Taurus flips as we move into fast paced Gemini season. On May 26th, eclipse season begins with a lunar eclipse in Sagittarius. We have been experiencing the eclipses in Sagittarius-Gemini for the past year, so this should be somewhat familiar territory. A question to ask yourself is, what still needs to be cleared from the Sagittarius area of my life? We are making room for a new vision here that will allow us to connect with something more meaningful in our lives. The turbulence we experience at the end of May and in June may bring some chaos, but it will also open new doors.

Lastly, Mercury stations retrograde in Gemini on the 29th. We may feel we are moving in many directions at once but not making much progress. With sudden increased global movement, this is going to be a busy and chaotic time in the world. Confusion and delays are imminent, so be patient when the road gets bumpy! We will be working to sort through a confusing situation in search of necessary clarity. I'll report more on this at a later date.

Until then, enjoy this stabilizing and sweet new moon!

Attune to Venus

astrologySuzy OlsenComment
Attune to Venus Taurus.jpg

Venus in Taurus is about to make some big moves this week, including a conjunction with radical Uranus tomorrow.

I thought this would be a good time to share some practices with how to 'attune' to this auspicious planet. In the sign of Taurus, the planet of love and pleasure holds great strength. Venus will stay in Taurus until May 8th, and this is a great time to work with this earthy empress.

To 'attune' is really to connect with this planet and to welcome her many blessings. Venus brings us new ways to find pleasure, love, creativity and harmony in our lives. She makes life worth living!

Here are a few ways that I like to connect with Venus, which many have been practiced for thousands of years:

*Wear green, pastels and soft colors.

*Wear a fragrance, especially the floral variety.

*Wear copper or sparkly jewelry.

*De-clutter and organize your space.

*Place flowers in your space or on your altar.

*Tap into your pleasures + sensuality -- good music, food, conversation + sex.

*Make time for leisure + relaxation.

*Pamper yourself with a massage.

With the Venus connection to Uranus tomorrow, we may find certain challenges but also opportunities to find exciting, new ways of comfort and connection. May anything blocking you from connecting to Venus, find a way forward. ♀️

The Pisces New Moon 2021 - Finding your inner bliss.

astrologySuzy OlsenComment
pisces new moon 2021

Early Saturday morning, at 2:21AM PT, the moon will empty in the sign of watery Pisces. In many parts of the northern hemisphere, the snow is melting and the first buds of spring are sprouting in the fertile soil. Just one week before the vernal equinox, the Pisces new moon marks a time of deep reflection and renewal. This new lunar cycle has much to offer us, and I'm looking forward to taking a dip in these magical waters.

The new moon occurs at 23 degrees Pisces with dreamy Neptune and an exalted loving Venus nearby. In addition to this magical mix of fantasy, I see zero harsh aspects to this lunation. What a welcome astrological treat! If this transit were a dessert in fact, it would be decorated with unicorns, rainbows and delivered by the faeries. More than likely, you will not be feeling super productive this weekend. Don't expect to get a lot done. This new moon beckons us to sit back, slow down, and chill out for a bit. In this Neptunian landscape, there is no rushing ahead. We are either riding the wave or swimming against the current.

Neptune and Venus are playing a big role over the next couple weeks. As we plant the seeds of the Pisces moon, we are dismantling barriers and seeking connections. We may feel more compassion for others and a sense of oneness with the world at large. Our spiritual impulses may draw us to connect more deeply with the divine. Our hearts are able to open more broadly and recognize the divine beauty in our surroundings. The new moon is ruled by buoyant Jupiter, so we have a better ability to see the big picture and receive its blessings.

Venus is exalted in Pisces because of her ability empathize and have sincere compassion in this sign. In a tarot reading I did for this lunation, I could see this will be a time of letting go of possessiveness and a hoarding attitude. We are entering a period where (I hope) it will be easier to share and be generous with others. As the ice of winter melts, our hearts are softening and seeking true connections. Also, as the severity of the pandemic lessens, we are feeling safer and realigning with joyous human bonding.

The only potential challenge I'm seeing with this new moon would be falling too far into the Neptune abyss. We are in the realm of fantasy and imagination during this cycle, so we may not be thinking practically or have a realistic perspective. As long as we don't become attached to 'ideals', however, I think we will be fine! Perhaps the best way to approach this new moon, is to not declare grandiose far off plans for the future. Instead, find a quiet place alone and feel the bliss of the present moment. Over the weekend, soak up the magic of the new moon and let it radiate outward over the coming weeks.

Another message that came up in the tarot reading was the importance of having a structured ritual or spiritual practice. This 'structured practice' may also include a self care routine of some kind. What might this look like? I would suggest working with a wise and experienced teacher or counselor who can offer some kind of structured support system. The Neptune and Sun conjunction can represent a wise teacher or guru entering your life. Perhaps you already have the tools, however, and this new moon can inspire you to reconnect with a personal practice.

As we move into fiery Aries season, our lives will be taking on a quicker pace. I see lots of new activity on the horizon! I believe the Pisces new moon is a welcome space to allow relaxed rejuvenation before our lives heat up once again. This is also a perfect time to tap into your intuition. So take some time this Friday and Saturday to find the quiet and your inner bliss.

Happy new moon.
